Some of our stallions are available for natural service. Our experienced handlers help to make the procedure as safe as possible for all involved. We have facilities and are fully insured for mares to stay with us throughout the cycle, from covering to pregnancy scanning.

 

Even with natural covers we prefer the mare to arrive with us either in season or having been scanned recently so we know when to expect her to be in season; alternatively we may suggest that our vet scans her. This helps us to be able to organise our diary to ensure your mare gets the full attention she deserves. Mares for natural cover must be CEM swabbed, this can be done at home by your vets or by ourselves.

We have a selection of livery options available for mares staying with us, from modern American barn stabling to crew yards and a select few grass livery options.

All mares must have a service agreement completed and signed prior to/on arrival to the stud. Please either fill in the online version or print a copy and bring with you. The stud fee must be paid on arrival and all other fees paid before the mare leaves.
